Table

Crochet and Knitting Helper

A couple of devices which allow a lady to resume enjoying her hobbies of crochet and knitting despite her suffering tremors and the effects of a stroke.

Changing table

A client with learning difficulties needs a table to support him in his home while his carers help him get dressed and bathed. A folding wall-mounted table was made.

Wheelchair shooting table

The client wanted a shooting table which he could use with his lightweight manual wheelchair which would enable him to do competition shooting. A standard folding workbench was modified for this purpose

Modified Over Bed Table

Client with MS, in a reclining chair, likes to paint, read and do jig saws. Current over bed (or chair) tables do not meet her needs.
Remap selected a suitable table to modify, that had the ability to incline and added a rotatable side table extension, held flat even if the main table top was inclined.
A separate larger table top, covered in anti-slip material, was made to easily slip over the main table top which could be easily removed without disturbing a partially finished jig saw.

Wheelchair shooting table

The client is a potential Para-olympic shooter and wheelchair bound. He needed an easily dis-mountable table attached to his chair which supports his elbows and the rifle. A table was designed which fitted to he chair side rails.

Laptop table

A low, wide and lightweight laptop table for a client

Accessible Bedside Cabinet

The client, who was bed-bound for certain periods of the day, required access to a multiplicity of items that he was unable to reach from his existing bedside cabinet

Wheelchair tray

The client required a light weight tray for her wheelchair for use when out and about.

Over-chair table

The client eats seated in her recliner chair and requires a special over-chair table that accommodates her sitting position which in effect raises her stomach up. Standard tables have been found not to work. A table was made to exactly fit the dimensions of the client’s chair (not that in the picture) with a cut-out […]

Wheelchair tray

Table mounted on wheelchair Starboard mounting bracket The client requires a table for his motorised wheelchair, but none is available from its manufacturer. The client’s OT had several unused tables available.  One was chosen, and brackets made and fitted to the chair’s arms. The clamp bolts were colour-coded port and starboard.
